Sandy and I have been really enjoying the meals on board this cruise and the quality I have to say has been exceptional 😋
We don’t want to dress-up every night for dinner so sometimes its just a good big red wine and hang out on the open back deck with great sail away views waiting to be under the stars.
How could you not be happy with this
eye fillet from the buffet.
It was super moist and really well cooked.
Had a special afternoon tea inspired by the Caribbean in the main dining room the other day, while super yummy I needed to do several more laps of the walking track for the indulgence.
I was lost as to the Caribbean influence though … maybe it was influenced by where we were and not what we ate 😂
but who cares I do love a good afternoon tea!
Dinner in Tamarind, one of the speciality restaurants on deck 11 is always a special treat, stunning atmosphere, superb plating and a great way to spend a night with a good sake also.
This is what happens if Mexico, Japan and Italy were to have a
Menage a trois “love child dish”!
Combining a Mexican taco base and jalapeños,
Some sushi tuna and kewpie mayonnaise,
With tomatoes, olives and a splash of balsamic vinegar
and lets add coriander for some colour just because the chef is from the Philippines.
WOW fun dish and strangely the flavours worked.
Tamarind Restaurant
The Main Dinning Rooms food has been exceptional too.
Love a good devilled egg
Oh and the lobster with stir fried vegs was a great dinner the other night
Duck with risotto and a sneaky little red in the back ground.
The Sea food has been stunning
Cutlery left like Rick Stein would to show the chef you are happy … but after taking the picture, I did rearrange the cutlery properly because,
Rick that is just not good manners. 😂
So with 11 days down and 20 still to go we are very happy to be sailing again.💚💜
That looks absolutely divine❤️
