Okanagan Lake

 We did a day trip and drove north from Kelowna to check out the lake. This section was a 140km loop and to give you an idea of how long the lake is if we also want south from Kelowna it would have been another 270km loop.

We opted for the northern drive as it is more pine forests and farmland as south is more dry land and wine country.

Just a bit disconcerting when you see signs like this!

I know what it’s like to wake up a hibernating bear!!!

So I decided to not walk too close to the barns.

I prefer my bears a bit more statuesque.

Or carved out of timber!
