Cooking Class in Roma

So it's back to see chef Andrea, he was the first chef that we cooked with back in April 2013 to start our gap year Italian cooking trip. What a great way to finish off our second 1/4 of our gap year with him and back in Roma.

Today's menu was done around some different products to last time and as Andrea also wanted to start with Sandy's favourite dish being the Eggplant Parmigiana. Happy Sandy ... insert smiley face ...

To finish off with a dessert which is a favourite of his that he had as a child in Roma of Ricotta and Sour Cherry Pie. This is a Jewish dessert and as the Jews were in Roma well before the Romans it is fitting that it is classified today as a local dish.

Today was a hands on class of 12 people so an interesting mix of people, Andrea will email recipes and I should have them once we are back in Aussie so I will insert recipes then. OMG back in Aus... But we still have our Dubai experience yet to come.
