Our first pit stop on our way to Kelowna was at Harrington Hot Springs which is about 1 hour east out of Vancouver.
We were going to spend a night here but opted to have longer in Kelowna … but I still wanted to check it out anyway.
It’s one of those old time hot spa Canadian holiday spots from a by gone era.
It is about 30km off the highway and is a truely
beautiful lake and with freezing winds coming off the melting snow.
So happy to see this cute little place and enjoyed a walk on the foreshore and would definitely be a nice spot to visit in summer to be able to take in the boating on the lake.
To stay in a traditional old hot springs hotel was one of my
“Hoping To Do’s” BUT the reviews were just soooo poor!
But one can only spend so much time turning into a prune!
You will just have to come up to the hot baths in Moree with me sometime, they are truly wonderfully relaxing.
ReplyDeleteOK Suzi, Moree sounds fantastic … and affordable, I will never complain about the price in Australia again 💚
