As Doriano and the rest of the Italian family are having a siesta on this hot Sunday afternoon Sandy and I hit the hilly country roads for a drive to the cooler mediaeval hill top town of Peglio.
The town today has a population of about 800, it is super cute and a great place to wander as there are not a lot of tourist up this way.
Also sometime for an Italian hair cut at 1000m above sea level.
Now tidy again … was looking a bit rough around the edges!
Views as we come back down off the mountain
looking back at Peglio.
I was going to mention when you were stirring the polenta that you may have needed a chefs hat to keep those long locks out of the way..
ReplyDeleteYes Suzi, long locks indeed!!! Now i’m respectable againπ
