So our time has come to an end in this hugely unique and interesting old town in southern Italy. The vibe was acceptance from the people in the hotels but not always by the locals in the back blocks.

Some of the new residents are doing what they can with what they have to add some colour to let the outside world know that they are welcome.
Like this flower, there is hope too for the new residents of the old town.
I saw this little flower etching out its own very singular existence in the hot pavement.
