Francavilla al Mare to Piobbico

 Out of one tunnel and straight into the next!

Today we drove some 200km north from Francavilla al Mare, it took us about 3 hours and yes on the autostrada again. 

It is incredible how many tunnels there are, 

it would have been a fun car game to count them … but it was a better car game to just watch out for the Italian race drivers instead!

If I was to take a guess … about 50, from 300m to several km.

As you can see by this picture it is dryer here with the last of wheat paddocks being harvested. 

We are now in the La Marche food region, so cheese, 

ship! (sheep) and truffles 😃 and my Italian brother Doriano.

We are staying 15 km up the hill from Piobbico 

at Parco Ducale Country House in Urbania.

Today was 38 degs 🥵 🥵 so that pool is going to be our friend.

Our room is on the ground floor with a cool shady portico.

With great views too.
