The truffling pictures tell a 1000 words.
We are making our way to one of Doriano’s secret locations on a very hot summer afternoon in search of the black truffle.
The gravel road soon turned into a goat track which was fun to drive in the old van that rattled as we drove at speeds perhaps I would not have driven at!
On a mountain at 1150m above sea level and the views are amazing.
Rough terrain, if you remember my post from 2014
this is where we were in the Autumn with the
rotting leaves looking for the white truffle.
Wow the ground is so different from the cool to hot seasons.
Doriano’s best friend.
Not a bad afternoon in the office!
Collecting another tea shirt!
this one with the name of Doriano’s S/S business.
Yummo !!!
