Malta - Valletta

 Wow Wow Wow what a visually beautifully city to cruise into. 

An ancient white stone city with 

a newer whiter city off to the far right.

This was truly a great day and our favourite on this cruise.

It would be just a place to fly directly into and immerse yourself for a few weeks.

The water was clear and blue even right into the main harbour.

The people were so friendly and up for a chat, 

Rose was knitting on the edge of the road overlooking the water late in the afternoon while her husband was fishing for small fish for the11 stray cats that they feed.

 

 

This ancient door with the rust and patina was specular.

We really enjoyed walking around the port town of Valletta where we docked.

Lots of the cruise passenger where off to the beaches and the other areas but the port and old city were just so wonderfull and our day was just not long enough.
