Coast Hotel - Breakfasts

 The breakfasts here at Coast Hotel are unlike any other we have had in Italy! Normally it’s a croissant and coffee which is ohh so Italian! or a mix of cold meats and cheeses. 

Here they are breaking the Italian breakfast rule book and opting for an a la carte menu.
 It’s a little bit fancy so one feels that they have to dress for breakfast.


They serve breakfast till 1pm, so as we are eating dinner fairly late it works well for us as our brunch after we have been out for the morning prior to the coastal heat really kicking in.


We have enjoyed things like a warm apricot tart.


Fresh fruit tart with custard.


Fried eggs on a round focaccia with smoked salmon.


Parma ham with Piadina (local flatbread) and squacquerone creamy cheese, slightly sour and spreadable.


Mille feuille with vanilla custard and apples. 


Eggs Benedict with a crumbed egg yoke on a whole wheat croissant.


And these crepes rolls of ham and fontine cheese were super easy but so yummy. 


With all these beautiful options for brunch a few more laps of the pool are definitely needed.
