Prawn Sambal with Coconut Rice

To our next taste sensation for today.
Lets look at the finished dish and work backwards.
Prawn Sambal with coconut rice.
Wow what a flavour bomb the Sambal was. 


 From this delectable tray of goodies


Marry the candlenut to the dried shrimp paste




Introduce a but of hot stuff to the relationship!


Looking as cute as one can doing it!


 Some chopped garlic


the eshallots


and than it's like a miracle in just 25 short minutes a stunning smooth paste.
What a work out! 
but so worth the effect.


Cook in a tad of oil till caramelized adding palm sugar
 tamarind water as you go to de-glaze


  
simply add the prawns and some tomato (de-seeded) 






A tad time consuming but simple and sooooo stunning.
What a flavour bomb, the dried prawn paste is the hero that pulls to dish together and the caramelizing on the sambal is the true winner
YUM YUM

Be creative in the plating of the coconut rice, whats the point of an audience without a performance.
