The last day with the family was a Sunday and the restaurant bust into action with locals coming for the trading of Sunday lunch. All arriving around 1 pm there was 50 people 1/2 kids the place was buzzing.
After we helped with the prep we were seated for lunch and served the fabulous soft pasta as in the previous blog with a ragu of deer (capriolo) and pana (cream) sauce, followed by the grilled salted meats and salad. We then head for the lawn area to free up a table for the guests that keep arriving. Over the coming hours we can understand how the family now makes some money form the venture as some stay on but most sit around playing with the children and having a few drinks enjoying the countryside and the rustic felling. Sunday is. Huge family day and as most don't have enough space to all be together they source out venues like this and use the pool and sauna and don't seem to want to go home....but it is idyllic so who can blame them.
