It's like having your hands tied as i need the pictures to help tell my stories and adventures.
We are now in Dubai and had New Years Eve on the top deck of our ship over looking the city with dancing, great music with the Dubai fire works erupting on the skyline.
Getting ready to drop the ships ice art 19 into the pool.
I will have to get back to all the other stories from our adventures in India in a very round about fashion ...
And for those who truly know me and my little bit of OCDDDDD it is a challenge to not be pegging my stories on the blog clothesline in the right order with non colour matching pegs!!
We arrived into Dubai yesterday, New Years Eve and will be here till we fly out tomorrow Thursday 2nd Jan 2020 at 8pm after a cooking class with a local lady.
A pic from our balcony when it was 12 midnight in Australia but only 5pm here in the afternoon.
The city of Dubai is building out further into the sea rocks from Iran and sand from their own deserts.
The spike in the skyline (the worlds tallest building) as viewed from our ship
And now under it with all its mirror and silver bling having breakfast in a very flash hotel trying traditional Arabic food (soooooo over the boat food)
It was almost cheaper to come here !!!!!! (but still $80 aus each for breakfast ouch) and have an amazing Arabic breakfast than to pay the ridiculous amount the ship was asking for wifi for a day.
I may be tight ... but $80 aus was just silly money for wifi but never tooooo much for breakfast!!
I won't need to eating for the rest of the day started with the seafood Harra and a spot of fried rice.
Had to try the Shakshuka with Cous Cous.
Couldn't go past the Foul Medamas, bean with soft spices in a tomato sauce.
The Spinach Fatayer got a huge thumbs up so maybe i had a couple of extra ones!
Then salads and dips to die for.
Making the pic's smaller now or else you may think i'm a piglet!!!
The rare pigeon and the moist turkey with pickles, Quina and grape salad plus barley with red current just looked like Christmas on a plate.
and to round off breakfast it's a "desert" !!!! Umm Ali
Or as we know it a bread and butter podding, Arabic style.
so with almonds, pistachio a hint of rose water.
