Dinner At The Cabana

Tonights dinner wow wow wow what a treat and what a location.

We wanted to be spoiled as we are normally the ones doing the spoiling back home so tonight let's have someone look after us.
We booked a private corner cabana on the highest deck over looking the the rest of the ship and the Mediterranean Ocean only 4 couples were up there. Your own private cabana with a day bed for two, and lounge in one corner, a table for two in the other also with a butler service, if you had a empty glass it soon became full again...

Watched the sun go down with French Champaign and antipasto. An Italian Pinot Grigio with the amuse bouchée, a Chablis from France with the bouillabaisse.
A red from Washington apparently posh!!! Our Sommelier was almost wetting his pants describing it.... Hmmm...was to soft for us Aussies...we like our big reds, this is served with a surf and turf.... Well a Grilled Fillet Mignon and lobster tails with a saffron foam so a fancy surf and turf.
A late harvest Sauvignon blanc from Chile went well with the 3 very very little deserts of Creme brûlée, tiramisu and a strawberry custard. And finally a port from Portugal with the cheese to finish off a great night.

The package also included a bottle of Champaign on ice back in your room... So we said to our man could you leave the cork in that one and we will keep it for another day!!!!!
So after a long stroll around the outside decks on a warm barmy night with the sounds of the ocean below this capped off a spoil us night, bonanotta.
