Inside Our Palace

You know when sometime you book over the internet and not always sure that the pictures you see are actually where you are staying. That sinking feeling when you open the door and it's a dump... We have all been there...

Well ... Have we lucked up real good this time!
The place well it is amazing, I did send some picks from the windows looking on to the grand canal and a pick of Sands in the kitchen but for the rest of the pictures I thinks it's best you go to their web site.

As those of you who know us well know that we can trash a place in a few days and even with only having 2 suitcases ... lets just say we are on holidays and we didn't bring away our A team!!!!

As we HAD to be on the Grand Canel so we can take in all the sights and sounds. The sounds of the waves lapping against the brick walls under our windows is so soothing for us kids from the bush. Mind you sometimes it's a bit like Pitt Street with all the boats, but double glazing is great.
The kitchen is good and Sandy has cooked up a storm, our bedroom is toward the back of the apartment accessed through 2 sets of double doors that house our walk-in wardrobe. Either side we have a his and hers bathroom, yep one each.
Sandy's has a bath, toilet and foot washing bowl.
Mine has the word Calidarium engraved over the double glass doors, I have the same a toilet and the foot washing bowl as well as a huge shower big enough for 3 or 4 hmmmm the mind boggles... This also is a Calidarium a steam shower so everyday I have been enjoying a lot of time in the shower sweeting until I'm clean.

All the floor are in bricks that have been polished and with underfloor heating which I have turned on in the bath area so they are our doubling as our drying rooms.
There is also a spare toilet in the laundry, entrance foyer and spare room with two beds currently used as our walk-in wardrobe + an organ, so all in all who ever owns this place has set it up for them to enjoy also and not just as a renter.
Sooooo lucky to have found it.
