Mytilene, Nisos Lesbos

So it's goodby to another interesting little Greek Island.
We have now start our journey back towards Venice traveling a total of 1400 n/m to get to Istanbul.

The city of Lesbos was a cute city with loads of character and characters.
It occupied seven hills and featured a fortress which seamed so far away from where the ship was mored in the bay but we managed to get to the gates only to find it was closed, but all good a great walk and we wouldn't have seen and met who we did.
Sat next to a mid aged lady in the town square and she was up for a great chat about her town so found out it is one of the largest Island in the Mediterranean and Aristotle lived here in 336 BC.

It's was a pretty little port but without a pier big enough for the BIG cruise liners so we used the ships own tender boats to get a shore and back
