Coastal Garden of Stonehaven

A morning stroll and we discover this small garden and get chatting to its owner. He tells us its the best summer season he has had in decades and his garden is loving the dry spell.

Overlooking the North Sea

Not a beach for walking, more to look at and suck in the seaweed smell and the fresh salty air.

Great accessible boardwalks that stretch for mile around the coastlines

Some of his interesting prickly plants

The colours are so intense in their cool summers
now here's one that will do well in our dry garden
