Stunning breakfast with that Loch Lomond view.

 No will power Pete! Sorry waist line I couldn't refuse the Haggis but I did say no to the black pudding!


Porridge, never thought I would be eating porridge in the middle of summer but that's Scotland, hot one day and cool the next. 


Headed south to have a quick look at the fishing village of Tarbert before we head to our hideaway island "Luing" for the next week.
Looks like a film set, the sound of seagulls ...
maybe a Scottish Midsummer Murder!


 
To top off the morning we saw an otter playing in the ocean and then he decided to sun himself. He put on a show for 15min or so, we were just so captivated and we couldn't leave, nature at its best.

  2. And don't get excited about the rain you probably thought we were going to get, you only had 3ml, very disappointing.

    1. My excitement by the rain was crushed years ago.
      The weather channel giv'th the Lord tak'th away.
      Need to move to moister climate hmmmm maybe a island in Scotland TBA xx
