Been traveling crisscrossed around the Scottish highland and coastal strips over the past 2 weeks now and still the heather season is only just starting so will need to do a final trip into the highland later towards the end of the month to see it before we fly to London.
Found a wee track
where after over nights rains the mosses are green again and contrast against the purple heather.

The distant hills where the brownish strips are is the heather and today we could see more of a hint of the mauve.
the waterways just to mystical and with the slow function on the Ipad a top photo.
