We have traveled about 4500 km and now we are just 100 km southeast from Torino in the Asti wine region and some R & R in the vineyard area is needed ... enough cooking classes for a couple of days, let's do some wine tasting..... Barbera is my red wine of choose in this wine heaven area.
We found this great 14 room villa which a English/Irish couple restored about 12 years ago. Very shabbie chic and a bit French provincial with a bit of English cottage garden thrown in for good measure. It is so stimulating and my design eye is working overtime on ideas for our gardens back at The Retreat.
It's our last couple of 26 degree warm autumn days before it drops to tops of around 13 to 15 degrees for our week in Torino. So let's hit the sun lounges for a drop or three.
Beautiful and very different to the little village , you really are mixing up the accomodations!
