It's about a 4 hour drive today north west passing Siena on our left and to the right of Florence by about 70km ending up on the edge of a little town of Lucca near Pisa, so off the west coast by about 30 km.
Well the accommodation is a bit questionable ... but we are here to cook and not for the room but with a bit of Sandy and Peter readjustments to the room and "borrowing" some stuff from the other old rooms in above the cooking school it is now ready for the next 3 nights!!!! Plus with some of the out of the suit case tricks we soon had it cleaner and smelling much better.
