Them Dar Hills

Wow what a beautiful spot and we are here to do some cheese making classes.
We are now just out of a small town of San Rufo at a Agrotuirisiom called Erbanito.
Just over the regional food boarder of Basilicata and now into Campania, on the edge on the mountainous national park of Cilento, west from "Harold" in Ginoso by about 100km and under Naples by 130ish km.

This "is" their real name so google them as today the cheese making class was fantastic, but more on that later.

We wound our way up the mountain with it's very steep and narrow roads hoping no one was going to want to come down at the same time, arriving to what can only be describes as a fantasy location for the owner who clearly loves his horses. It's is a purpose built accommodation for horse lovers as it overlooks the stable, round yard and sandy arena for doing horsey stuff... Sharon and Thomas you would love it.

We were made feel very welcome but you somehow get the feeling that the cheese and agrotourism take second place on the financial ranking. A big black merc turns up, a man in black with huge gold dog chains gets out followed by a couple of his minders!!!! Watched the boys in the round yards training and me being a Aussie ... with a hat ( oh and a black merc ) they somehow assumed that I owned a ranch in Australia also. Hmmm where did they get that from? not exactly what I said but as long as they don't expect me to jump a horse and do some bareback training or even getting on a horse I will be ok... So I watch from the side of the round yard and I hand gesture that they are all doing very well, exit right or you will be on a horse. Ok cowboy Pete ...Gosh is that the time ... I think I've got a cheese making class to get to. Arraveriderchi
