Watch a Food Service on Board


Something a bit different, a food service on board where we get the watch the team at the Culinary Arts Center do food service for the restaurant tonight, oh and eat some fabo dishes.


Greeted with a drink by chef Thomas who we have done some classes before  on one of the other Holland America ships. Some time to meet the rest of the team and a chat on how services operation happens in a busy ships restaurant.



Starter of
Micro Polenta cups with mushroom and quail egg  
 

Sprouting Salad of Golden Beets

 
 Celery and Kale Risotto
 
Rib Eye Cap and Lobster tail with Roasted Parsnip Puree, carrots and Romanes (cross between cauliflower and broccoli)
 
 
Chocolate Cylinder to Finish
 

Fun night and we learnt a bit too.
Got all the recipes but the internet sucks big time here so will post them when I can
