Castellammare del Golfo

Castellammare del Golfo is a ancient town and castle dating back to 3 BC, now a cute little fishing village.
North coast Sicily in the Golfo di Castellammare.

Restaurant overlooking the bay all to ourselves the rest of the tourist all 50 of them were at the first few restaurant but if you walk a bit further you can get amongst the real Sicilian food and people.

What a great place for lunch, the prawns and spaghetti with local DOC wine.

After lunch got the "best" and sweetest pomegranate juice from this character.

Meet a local selling seafood that he had caught this morning from the back of his motorbike and was fascinated by my IPad

Same local fascinated by what in Sandy's bag he could speak great English so (checkout the guys in the background) they were fascinated this guys could speak a little English.

Sandy doing the domestic duties getting fruit and vege for dinner

Front of the fruit and veg shop, parking seamed like free for all.

Our car is a bit big for the parking space!! but the guys behind were parking in a towed away area so I figured what the hell.
Its Sicily, I will just have to wait till I get home to see how may parking fines we have!
Fingers crossed not to many.
