Persimmon.

I'm 54 ... well ONLY just !!! and this is the first time in my sheltered life that I have ever had a persimmon.

I really do need to get out more!!

So from a tree in the garden at the bread making day and it was ripened on the tree, it was gooey, real real gooey, it is was like eating warm jam.

Apparently the only way to eat them, as they are best ripened on the tree. 
Sweet, delicious and a new taste, loved it, but cant put my finger on the exact taste. Help me out Bloggies!
