Last nights In Sicily

It's been 3 weeks now traveling around Sicily cooking and tasting the Sicilian differences to the rest of Italy food.
I will fill you in on that later.
G&T calling

Check out the lemon rind this is a "cedro" southern Italian lemon. The rind is great for a salad of olive oil ... but not to good in the G&T, desperate strokes! it was a hard day on the northern roads of Sicily soooooo I am having it with a BIG G&T and probably 2.

After a couple of accommodation challenges its time ... to be a little bit spoiled.

A room fit for a king, apparently Sicilian kings are small!!!

But the love a view as it was big out on the balcony overlooking the Port Milazzo.

Versace tiles how Sicilian!!!!

Today we travelled from the northwest food and wine area right across the top of Sicily to the northeast around Palermo which was a driving challenge in itself, apparently the lines on the roads must have worn off from all the traffic!!!! and finally into the port town of Milazzo.

Arrrrrr that's the sound of arriving true bliss ... BUT its harder to spell the sound of my fingers being dislodged from the steering wheel!!!

Most of today was not a good day for people with chlosaphobia (there's that word again, even spell check can't work out how to spell it, so what chance have I got).
We travelled on the highway with a world record, it is the highway with the most tunnels. So bring on the G&Tssssss
