It was a very nice day out in a traditional Italian home

but was it a forefeeling cooking class ...
We are getting to the pointy end of the Italian cooking classes and now just looking for the finer details, today was advertised as a traditional Sardinian cooking class and well ... sadly it wasn't.

Our teacher was amazed that Sandy and I could whip up a pasta dough quicker than her!

Tourism here is taking over since the GFC and everyone that has a pasta roller and a Tupperware ravioli kit now thinks that they are cooking teachers. Apparently this equipment is sooooo technical that we weren't even allowed to use it!
Clearly on needs a degree to advance to this level of cooking!!

Give the class some Prosecco Sandy and put us into a vino coma.

It was a nice day, meet a nice American couple ... the other nice suckers who also wanted a Sicilian cooking class.

Little ol trip adviser will be see 2 new reviews on this so-called class so that other unsuspecting wont-to-be cooks can go to another class and get what you actually pay for .... harsh but true.

But lunch was "nice" looking over their pool.

and for desert we had the "nicest" strawberries, cut up by our host ... we weren't alow to touch the plastic Tupperware Raviolo kit ... so a sharp knife was way above our skill sett.

Why let that spoil our day, we still had a "nice" day and our hosts were left thinking that they had taught their 2 cookie couples some "nice" new tricks.

They had a great little cellar

after a couple of vino's under the Sardinian sun we chatted with the other couple about other cooking classes we had both done.
Now back on the straight and narrow we have some other Sardinian cooking options and restaurants to look forward too.
