So we leave the girls from the country farm and head for the big smoke of Torino some 50 km north. Today is the last day that I will have to listen to Gloria and she knew it, so she had to have the last laugh and took us around several roundabout that we should not have taken on our trip to the airport to drop off the car.
So with a couple of extra tolls to pay getting on and off it was a slightly more adventurist route taken, so thanks Gloria now its back in the suit case for you.
But I shouldn't be too hard on Gloria she has helped us travel some 3200 km in 40 days around the northern parts of Italy and we only had that one little dingle with
" That Pot " which was not Gloria fault, really what sort of NEW Sherman Tank doesn't have one of those reserving beepie thing to warn you how close to some thing you are.
We arrive into the airport and are both grateful that we have returned the car 4 days early, it did take a bit of time to find the place and to read all the signs as we went. Big airports the world over a difficult places to navigate especially when the sign are not in english.....So we don't want to keep the car and drive in Torino, enough is a enough and a big city would do all 3 heads in.
Our girl that checks the car in informs us that we have 2 little marks!
Well I will admit to one.... not sure how the other got there and as it was under the front bumper bar I'm thinking a gutter that I may !! have run into!! well that's what insurance is for.
So in no time we are set FREE of driving on the wrong side of the road and it was the best feeling. Just Sandy and I back into 2 suitcases on their own little wheels and the only other wheels that I want to see now are on a cab or on the tram system...
