This area of Italy was Asti Country as well as the famous Asti Rico-Donna, now that's a blast from the past... Hmmmm and brings back some very old memories, so I will sit and contemplate and have a moment of silence tooma past life and my youth....

Asti is also known for it's bigger red like Barolo and Barbaresco so put away the Rico-Donna, the spritzer and Presecco and give me a big red instead....
