Crocodile Dundee or Indiana Jones

So its another day exploring the sites of Torino and today we grab ourselves some day tickets for the trams. We are heading for a bit of a cultural day   today, so a trip onto the Egyptian Museum should do the trick, it is the biggest collection outside of Egypt and were weren't disappointed spending a couple of hours looking.
A dig site was reproduced with photos of the old time on the hunt for treasures.
There were so many mummified mummies and daddies!!! and these guys wanted to take themselves into the next life along with their pets and some live stock too. They have mummified their dogs and cats and I think the cats looked more like a small totem pole with a head sticking out the top with glass eyes, hmmm a bit ugly. The dogs looked a least a bit cute and as they were a bit bigger the legs were wrapped separate to the body so at least they looked more like a dog.
There were also baboons, crocodile, birds and some real small bugs,  well I'm sure they will come in handy in the next life !!!
So many statues and hyrogliphix 's that one really can't absorb it all, so its back to the tram to see some more local sites.Trams are the definitely the best way to get around in Torino as the roads are packed with cars and tourist. On and off system tickets for 24 hours are 5 €. We meet some helpful locals as we stayed  on the tram a bit too long and ended up out in the suburbs, so with some redirection and wait over there for a no. 28,  that will get you back in into town.
A young guy was making his way into town to go to work and was instructed by the other locals to get us on the right tram back to the city. This guy just kept looking at me and when he was brave enough to spark up a conversation wanted to know if I was Crocodile Dundee or Indiana Jones.....Dundee of course I'm from Australia. Once he started to talk he wouldn't stop, just another Italian wanting to try out his English skills with us, it was a lot of fun.
He was so helpful with directions and information on the city and as he worked in the direction of the main old town square where we were originally heading he insisted that we follow him.
I think he wanted to show me off to his friends cause he was so sure I was the real deal so who am I to disappoint him ....
