2 days of public Italian holidays so sometime out of the kitchen. Went for a drive to check out the Trulli houses, and as we are on the farm they have a few right out the back in the artichoke fields.
Last time we were here we went to the town of Alberbello (a must for 1st time visitors) were there are hundreds of them, this time we are just driving the non touristic roads and seeing some amazing examples.
The rock wall line all the roads and fields and out to the distance a cute little cluster of white painted Trulli.
Pete we are wondering why the shape of these houses - is it for insulation?
