Pastilla - Bastilla is like Potato - Partato

Remember me banging on about a food memory that Sandy had in Dubai from 2013 well todays class Sandy had been talking to the owner over the net way back in January when she first found this class and had requested the Chicken Pastilla.
So pleased we have made it and tastes it on several occasion over our time in Morocco, as if I had it only the once " Marrakesh Fusion Style" I may not have gone back for a second tasting.
 
So this is a commercial brand of pastry and because of that it has preservatives and things to give it shelf life, so it was a harder crepe, convenient for the modern Moroccan woman!


However this was the real deal from the Marrakesh markets and may vary slightly depending on the dough mix.
So much more fun to watch than just out of a bag.

  
This one is so fine, so you need a couple of sheet to make the dish
