Mikonos

 was our next "port of call" another magical Greek location.

 

Orgy (Italian word meaning today, a different meaning back home with a lot of very very close friends!!) was a bright blue day, it's all just so bright and white that ones sunnies are absolutely essential.

 May is the time to repaint the town white, so it is glowing now

 

  Here's a picture for you Susan, he/she was so cute sitting/sleeping or perhaps guarding a doorway.

 Mikonos is also another one of the windiest places,

along it's shore line are many wind mills.

 It's a quite a baron landscape with only a few trees and white house dotted on the hillsides

Yep as I said very windy and thanks Beth! yes those Lilly white's are a still in need of some more Meditterrian sun.

Pan fried polenta crusted fetta with a  fig relish

  

Tempura prawns big and juicy

  

Baby lamb slow cooked wrapped in vine leaves stuff with fetta tomatoes, rosemary, thyme, zucchini and mint.

 

Sitting in a protected courtyard under the dappled light

 

Just so pretty cool and green and not tooooo bright and white.
