Off to Hiroko’s place for a cooking day

So after a hmmmm interesting nights sleep on the torcher chambers stretcher bed (note to self find tall Aussie man later today when we change rooms and organise some extra futons, 30mm on a solid platform does not make for a comfy nights sleep, maybe a great space for working on! ... but not for sleeping.
So into our beautiful cab with auto opening doors, one doesn't want to touch anything dirty like a cab door hand after the place we stayed in last night! Our room was sooooo clean, how could it not be when it gets cleaned hourly!!!

Such a traditional cab drive and probably thinks what's these two old farts doing in a place like this!
Now heading to Hiroko's house some 30mins away in Yokahama for our first day cooking traditional food in a traditional Japanese house ... so lucky are we.

Yep looks like the house address!

All good  remember the house been here several times.

The entrance pine that you have to bow to walk under soooo traditional.

The front garden and I'm already in garden envy I love the whole clipped and maintained look, taking so ideas home again for my Japanese garden

Suzie ... check out some of the Bonsai

Have one of these in my Japanese garden after one of our other trips but sadly in Tamworth with our dry climate it still looks like it just out of the box and no moss

The back garden, theses guys are so luck to have this much space in Yokahama and garden, I'm so lucky to be able to see it all again

Love the age and twisted affect of the maple

Suzie this is one of the shrubs that Judy has in my garden

Suzie this is a Gingko Tree just sprouting it's spring leaf, Judy has one of these also at my garden

Well best head inside and start cooking.
